The expansion of the Geert Groote College in Amsterdam is fitted with a durable, partially open pinewood facade construction. Remarkably, the planks have been perforated in a set pattern, a so-called hexagon, which causes the circa 1.800 square meters red Fassawall Architectura to generate an even more expressive aesthetic effect. The organically designed expansion is made my SeARCH, that made sure the expansion tied in seamlessly with the existing construction designed by Anton van Es.
