The 4th Gymnasium in Amsterdam is clad with small, vertically closely placed slats. Behind the semi-transparent, wooden facade around 3.500 square meters of Fassawall Architectura was used for maximum protection of the underlying facade. The contrast between the coloured aluminium facade elements and the wooden facade sections creates an exceptional appearance. The school building, designed by HVDN Architecten, is a prime example of modular construction that can be easily relocated and repurposed.
